I am a relatively new TIXATI user, and I didn't I should use TIXATI client to rename files.
So I renamed download folders through Windows Explorer. Now when I open TIXATI, it seems the client cannot find files where they were. How do I recover from this state?

So because my files are already downloaded, the files themselves are fine
It is just it seems I am no longer seeding (Even after changing the name of the folder back)
Does this affect me in anyway? And what does seeding mean?

Seeding means uploading the files to others. Exactly how you downloaded the files in first place, but reversed. This is where the copyright drama comes in, they dispute the notion of "sharing is caring". Whatever, Tixati users agreed by EULA to not use it for law violations. You are one of the good people if you've configured VPN+Tixati correctly.
You should match the names between Tixati and Explorer to seed again (use the force check button). The rules are simple:
1. Never edit or save edited files while they belong to your torrent client.
2. Any file moves and renames must be done through your client.

Thank you for the information.
Can you elaborate a bit more on the VPN setup.
- What is the purpose of using VPN
- How to set up VPN correctly
- If there are no standard procedure for setting up VPN, what end goal should I aim for? (So I can set up using whatever tool is available)
