I thought this was a bug but this has persisted for several versions now, more than a year, to be honest.
Tixati displays "Loading..." when expanding a drive in the location change dialog when it did so instantly in previous versions. What happened?

What OS?
No delay here on linux.

Windows folder enumeration is slow, it seems that Tixati is collecting full directory tree before user can choose where to save to.
