I am renting a Linux shell account on a screaming fast server at whatbox.ca

They do not offer Tixati as a BitTorrent client but I want to run it on my shell.

Is there a way to run Tixati headless? I noticed that qBittorrent does have a headless version called "qbittorrent-nox" that works with a browser interface. I have tried the web client on Tixati, but my question is will Tixati actually run without a GUI? I only have a shell and there is no desktop. I also do not have access to the "root" account.
