first and last pieces

How do you tell Tixati to download the first and last pieces of EACH file for EVERY torrent the way uTorrent can?  Thanks.

Since you want it to be used for all torrents, I hope you understand the implications on torrent health by doing sequential:

1. Make a new "Soft sequential" preset:
1.1. Settings - Files - Sequential download options - Configure
1.2. Add new preset
1.3. Minimum Seed Count: 4-5
1.4. Aggressiveness percent: 50 (I guessed it's 1 sequential for every 1 random, think of this like bandwidth allocation. Don't go above 70% please)
1.5. Progress limit percent: 50 - 80%. I think when sequential will stop. Make it enough that you would, while watching, never be faster than the download
1.6. File Tail MB: 1 MB is the default
1.7. File Tail percent: 0.60 is the default (I think whichever is bigger applies)

2. Same window: Settings - Files - Auto-select files in new transfers
2.1. Enable checkmark
2.2. Configure
2.3. Add new preset: "Soft Sequential Everything"
2.4. Sequential tab
2.4.1. Same name like in (1)
[Soft sequential]
*
2.5. Options tab
2.5.1. Default preset for new transfers: enable checkmark
2.5.2. Apply filters to single-file transfers: enable checkmark

If you download episodes content, select the first files and give them higher priority manually or check ordered for that particular transfer. Don't enable ordered for the entire preset.

Edit you could make this for episodes too, unless the episode count is like 765:
3. Same preset like in (2.3.)
3.1 Priority Tab, this will prioritize the first 3 episodes:
[very high]
S??E01
[high]
S??E02
[above normal]
S??E03
3.2. Disable "Match case"

Not sure it works, it should though.

I'll give it a try.  Thanks for the help!

I like that this is possible, but don't understand why it's not a configuration option like in uTorrent.  I always thought "when you build something bigger and better" that you included the features of what you were replacing.  Oh well, I guess that's just me. :-(
