Manually enter a file path for move on completion?

by Guest on 2015/01/19 03:39:53 PM
I'm running Tixati from within a Linux Mint VM on a Windows 7 host.

I have some RSS filters set up that I want to have move the completed files into relevant folders when finished. The target folders are vboxfs shares. Tixati, presumably due to a permissions issue will not allow me to select the folder as the target during configuration or a symlink to that same folder.

I have found that if I create a folder in my home directory and point Tixati to it, then delete the folder and create a symlink with the same name to the vboxsf share that Tixati is still able to write to it.

Essentially I'm wondering if I can avoid browsing to the target folder and instead manually type the path in without it being checked.

Thanks for your time.

I would love this to be implemented as well. Type in path to the folder would be so much quicker for me.

+1 for this suggestion.  I am changing the path for all of my completed rss downloads and having to go in and manually choose the folder path for each of my 20 RSS feeds is very slow and tedious.. being able to paste in a folder path would be so much quicker!

devs, please change this!

Implementing this would be also good for the portable version and relative location paths: https://forum.tixati.com/support/2767
