Tixati v2.16 (Bug : Auto Shutdown not working) x64 Bit

by Guest on 2015/08/20 11:31:41 PM
The newest Tixati v2.16 has a bug which just make it to close tixati when the option auto shutdown is chosen, the same bug is found in portable version as well.

Tixati, pls release a v2.16-2 with bug fix early as i tried to go back to v2.15 & this bug has taken over the old version too :(

I reported this bug some time ago. http://forum.tixati.com/support/1680/

Then I thought to go back from 2.16 to 2.15 and did that. Then I read your post and tested if 2.15 was, now, also affected with this bug. I can confirm that this bug now also occurs in 2.15 (if you have previously used 2.16). So I wonder how that can be? Suggests to me that the source of the bug must be in the data files that Tixati uses. Mmmm...

I completely agree that Tixati should release a 2.16-2 bug fix as soon as possible.

In the meantime, for people who rely on auto-shutdown when the queue is finished, then a good workaround program to use on Windows systems is "AMP WinOFF".

I have the same problem on Windows 7 64 Bit, auto shut-down just closes Tixati instead of shutting down the PC as well, but Tixati v2.16 is the first version that I have installed on a Windows 7 PC so I have no experience with version 2.15 running on Windows 7 as I was previously using a lower version number on Windows XP (without a problem).
