[Bug] [ Linux Mint] Right clicking to exit from taskbar not work

by raser421 on 2026/08/13 11:46:05 PM
So i set up a fresh tixati on my latest Linux Mint 22.3. Downloaded the .deb installer 3.44 ( the latest one) .
Tixati asked for default behaviour upon closing either to stop or to minimize.

I selected the minimize option, ofcourse. Everyone sane does.

Now i wanted to exit tixati by right clicking on the small task bar icon on the bottom right but it just produces a white narrow but vertically long textbox . I tried clicking inside the white space, hoping that some buttons are clicked and perhaps only the UI isnt showing, but no buttons press.

Please fix. First time posting here, idk if i can post a picture as well

Try going to settings-user interface-behavior. At the bottom there is "Use SNI tray icon", make sure that is UNselected. There are others that are having tray icon trouble in linux and that is what janet(the Mod) recommended and she said that the dev is on it.

You can post pictures, just upload the picture to a file hosting place and post the link here. Be sure to make sure the picture does not have any IP's or file names. Pictures are always helpful to better understand whats going on.
