EXTREMELY low tixati speed...

by Guest on 2026/05/07 04:57:40 PM
Its been 3 days and it only downloaded %15 (7gb) of it... Ive tried limiting bandwidth to 99999 like its been said in the older forums but still, I get 30kb/s max. Any suggestions?

Most likely the seeder (the person who has the 7GB file) has a slow speed. Me for example, my max upload speed is 120 KB/s. So, when I seed multiple torrents at the same time, other people get very slow download speed. Patience is very important when you are torrenting. Just let the torrent download and forget about it.

Some people seed everything and in their minds, 30KB to slowly get you (and thousands of others for thousands of other torrents that only they seed) to 100% is better than no one seeding at all. I will try to seed torrents +2 for my -1 download but I don't go nuts on seeding.

Now if you're not downloading something crazy rare you need to review your trackers!

Settings → Transfers → Trackers → Default Tracker Preset

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ngosang/trackerslist/master/trackers_all.txt

There are probably other lists though that one seems the most complete and kept up-to-date. There is an individual trackers option too so if you find a tracker not in the primary list you can add it separately especially if there is some conflict with your main tracking list where they don't like or care for an individual tracker (no idea, just guessing).

Point in case, I've seen entire torrents only available on torrent sites I've never heard of and suddenly the same thing that was dead on 7+ torrent sites was ripping like nuts from a new website (new to me).

For something like anime I prefer dual audio because I admit I prefer dubs. But not every series is dubbed. It's an impossible ask to find a series with a dub if one was never made.

So I hope that covers a lot of the various possibilities and what you can and might not be able to do. Good luck!

There is no real need to add dozens of trackers. If no other peers use them, you get nothing from it.

You can add a couple of popular ones as a backup for rare completely firewalled peers.
