Hello
Hopefully a simple non confusing question. Is it possible to continue to seed the files/torrent after the files have been deleted my end, as i'm not the original files uploader i want to still contribute to the source. As i'm now running out of space on my HDD i'm going to move them to google drive, but i'd still like to seed the torrents so not to be a leech as the website requires to keep a certain upload ratio to access.
Hopefully there is an option or way to do so.

Seeding means sending pieces of files to other peers. Anyone who has those pieces can upload them, everyone is a partial or a complete source. If you don't have the files, the client can't get their data out of nowhere.
If your cloud storage can be mounted as a regular file system, you can probably tell torrent client to move files there, but that's not a good idea for multiple reasons, at least for files of any significant size.
Private trackers that enforce ratio limits use download an upload statistics from the clients to calculate how much users shared. If you don't upload anything, your ratio won't change. Many trackers don't strictly rely on ratios and statistics, and provide different incentives for users to be active.

Okay, thanks for the replies. didn't realise i was sharing the files to others, i'd always assumed seeding as being a "boost" to the owner/uploader's speed. I'll have to consider expanding the computer storage or move other files i don't need on the computer.
