There is a big problem when it comes to Tixati and it is selecting the folder, since it uses this weird file picker, it has many limitations:
1. it is not only a terrible one to select paths since you have to go through each folder to get to the one you want
2. you can't just paste a path and copy paths and all that, you are limited to just picking and done, not filtering or searching or anything.
3. But the biggest problem is also that you can't even see hidden folders, so it is impossible to directly select a folder that is in the appdata or something, the only workaround, junction folders, which shouldn't be a necessary mandatory thing in 2026.
Have a good day.

I have to agree. I wouldn't mind otherwise, but the custom file picker is sometimes very slow to load up networked locations. Stuff just doesn't show up for a long time, and there's no indication that it's being loaded either, which makes it feel unresponsive. Besides, I don't see any benefit in diverging from the familiar system file picker.

Well, if you somehow port Windows file dialogs to Linux (though Wine should have something pretending to be that), it would make sense to use it as a cross-platform solution.
