ip filter - filter single port / filter first three blocks of an

hi,

sry. i might not be the smartest and failed to understand the ip filter formats to get this work. hope you can help :) thx.

i just want to filter a single port. one port, for all possible (ipv4) adresses.

example: 234.135.56.67:11000 -> block port no. 11000 for all ips

i also want to block the first three numbers of an ip (with all possible version of the forth number and the ports)

example: 234.135.56.xx:xxxxx -> block 234.135.56.0-255:allports

You can't block specific port with IP filter. Clients are free to change ports at any time anyway. You can block it with your system firewall settings, but what is your goal? I think you misunderstood something. Please describe your actual problem here.

To block a subnet of 256 addresses, you can use, for example, 12.34.56.0/24 or any other form listed in the manual:
