Have a way to show full file path for locations

by Guest on 2026/03/11 04:24:54 PM
Currently there's a way to show the last part of the path by the "Location" option in the "Transfers View". There's also a "Location" in the "Files View", but that currently the column is completely blank (it should show something).

Adding a (sortable) column to show the full path to these areas could help organize files. Either to help create Categories or to use like sub-categories.

/FULL/PATH/TO/FOLDER to "Transfers View"
/FULL/PATH/TO/FOLDER/TORRENT_SUBFOLDERS/FILENAME to "Files View"

Also being able to right click and copy the full file paths to the clipboard could be helpful too.
Maybe like
Transfers View > Right-click > Local Files > Copy Full Folder Path
Files View > Right-click > Location > Copy Full File Path
and
Files View > Right-click > Location > Copy File Name

Currently on Linux Debian KDE with Tixati v3.42.

If you press the layout button on the transfers tab and go to Select Columns, the window that pops up has 3 tabs. Go to Files View and there you have 2 choices, Location and Move On Complete. Both have (non-default) beside them which means that the column will only display the files Location or Move On Complete place if it is different from your default.

If you hover over the Location column in the Transfers window the tool tip shows the whole path.
