Hello, good morning. Could you please help me solve a problem? I'm no longer able to download files.

I've already downloaded several files, but suddenly it stopped downloading and it doesn't work anymore; the downloads show 0 seeds and 0 perks.

I've already installed the new version and it still didn't solve the problem.

How can I solve this problem? I would be very grateful if you could help me.

I’m sorry you’re running into this. Seeing "0 seeds and 0 peers" after everything was working fine is a classic sign that something is blocking Tixati’s ability to "talk" to the outside world. Since you’ve already updated the software and that didn't help, the issue likely lives in your network settings or a "ghost" configuration.

Here are the steps to get your downloads moving again, starting with the most likely fix:

1. The "Change Port" Fix (Most Likely)

Sometimes, your internet service provider (ISP) or router decides to block the specific port Tixati is using. Changing it, often forces a reconnect.

Go to Settings > Network > Incoming Ports.

Change your port up or down a few numbers.

Note: If you use a VPN, ensure the port you pick matches what your VPN allows (if they have port forwarding).

2. Reset the DHT (The "Brain" of the Search)

If Tixati says "Searching DHT," it’s lost its way in the global network of peers.

Go to the DHT tab (usually at the top).

Right-click the DHT graph or list and select Stop, then wait a moment and select Start.

If that doesn’t work, look for a right-click option to "Search DHT" on your specific transfers.

3. Clear Firewall "Ghost" Rules

When you update Tixati, Windows Firewall sometimes keeps the old version's permissions and blocks the new one.

Go to your Windows Firewall settings (search "Allow an app through Windows Firewall").

   Find Tixati in the list.

Remove all entries for Tixati entirely.

Restart Tixati. Windows should pop up a box asking for permission; make sure to check both Private and Public networks before clicking Allow.

4. Check for "Stuck" Config Files

Since a reinstall didn't work, there might be a corrupted setting in your "Roaming" profile that didn't get deleted.

   Close Tixati completely.

Press Win + R, type %appdata%, and hit Enter.

   Find the Tixati folder.

Warning: If you delete this folder, you will lose your current transfer list and settings. I recommend renaming it to Tixati_Old.

Open Tixati again. It will be like a fresh start. If it works now, you know a setting was the culprit.
