- Running Tixati Debian that saves onto NTFS network shares -
More and more torrents seem to be putting 'NTFS illegal' chars in the filenames of files, like the '|' char. If any files has a | char then allocation fails with a 'allocation error'. Ofcourse manually renaming those files in the client fixes it, but its becoming such a common issue I thought I would post.
Pipe is the only char I can recall though there is at least 1 or 2 others I've seen that cause the allocation to bomb on the NTFS shares as well.
If there already is a way to prefilter filenames I apologize, I cannot figure it out.
