Greetings, matey!
I’ve signaled a powerful sea-sprite known as Gemini to help draft these charts for ye. I hope the Tixati devs and the Master Shipwright himself, Kevin Hearn, don't mind a bit of A.I. sorcery in the forums—provided the maps lead to the right treasure!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to the sprite's calculations, here is the path to transfer your cargo to another vessel without losing a single gold coin:
Transferring torrents between clients is a manual process because each client uses its own proprietary database to track progress, but the method below is the industry standard to ensure you don't have to redownload anything.
1. Export your Torrent Files
Tixati stores the data, but you need the "map" (.torrent file) for the new client to read.
In Tixati, select the torrents you want to move.
Right-click and select Share -> Save .torrent.
Save these to a temporary folder.
2. Prepare the New Client (e.g., qBittorrent)
Before you add anything, you need to prevent the client from trying to download over your existing files immediately.
Open your new client's Settings/Options.
Find the "Downloads" section and uncheck "Start torrent automatically" (or "Do not start the download automatically").
Ensure the Default Save Path in the new client matches exactly where your files are currently stored on your hard drive.
3. Add the Torrents
Drag and drop the .torrent files you exported into the new client.
They should appear in the list as "Paused" or "Stopped" at 0%.
4. Verify the Data (The Most Important Step)
Highlight the torrents in the new client.
Right-click and select "Force Recheck" (or "Verify Local Data").
The client will scan your hard drive. If the paths are correct, the progress will jump to 100%.
5. Resume Seeding
Once the check is finished and shows 100%, right-click and Start/Resume.
You are now seeding your existing files from the new client.
Important Notes:
Magnet Links: If you only have magnet links and not .torrent files, you'll have to manually copy the "Info Hash" or re-find the magnet link online, as magnet links don't contain the file metadata until they start "downloading."
Subfolders: If Tixati was set to create a subfolder for torrents and your new client isn't, the check will fail. Make sure the folder structure is identical.

I’ve checked the rigging myself, and hopefully, it be correct in every detail! Use it well, and may it keep your hull watertight as you transition your fleet.
Fair winds and steady seeding,

Thank you!
Trouble is, many of my torrents are from magnet links, does anyone know of a way of transferring them in bulk? Is there no other way than copying each individually? :(
Ahoy, Dimitri001!
Fear not! You don't have to copy those magnets one by one—that's a task for a landlubber, not a seasoned sailor like yourself. Tixati actually allows you to bulk-export your entire manifest if you know where to look.
I’ve signaled the sea-sprite Gemini to help plot the course for bulk magnet transfer. Here are two ways to get all your cargo into port at once:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Option A: The .torrent Conversion (Best for moving to qBittorrent)
Select All: In your Transfers list, press Ctrl+A to highlight every torrent and magnet in your fleet.
Forge the Files: Right-click > Share > Save .torrent.
Tixati's Magic: Tixati will automatically generate and save .torrent files for every item you selected—even the ones that started as magnet links. You can then drag this whole pile of files into your new client.
Option B: The Bulk Magnet List
Select All: Again, press Ctrl+A.
Copy the Lot: Right-click > Share > Copy Magnet Link.
The Result: Tixati will copy every single magnet link to your clipboard at once. You can paste them all into a text file or directly into the 'Add Torrent' window of your new client.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This should save ye from a long night of clicking! Once you have the files or the list, just follow the 'Force Recheck' steps from my earlier post to make sure the new ship recognizes the cargo you already have.
Fair winds, and may your new vessel sail true!
