I really like the channels feature and how easy it is to search links, but I've noticed a problem with users adding images to their share. They take up a ton of space in comparison to the text/metadata which makes it easy to bloat the cost of using channels. That alongside a number of these random users adding cp directly to their share for everyone to automatically download makes me not want to use the feature at all.
It would be really nice to remove the image problem entirely, but barring a way to do that, does anybody happen to know how to clean out the Channels cache?

Ignore the user, and their data is removed from the local storage. Delete the channel, and all its data is also deleted.
After visiting public channels for years, I can't say that child porn jumped at me out of nowhere — if it ever happened at all.
Needless to say, any kind of public peer-to-peer sharing of (presumed) child porn is a bait from police 99 times out of 100, and the other one is soon to become their target. This both produces a stream of entrapped fools (because the goal of any bureaucratic entity is to present statistics that it is producing results, and become indispensable), and keeps the public on a leash (because any well behaving citizen taking a peek outside of the farm hedge can be scared away by mere rumours of “illegal content”).
Tixati itself does no offer any centrally moderated or audited service. Just like any torrent is made by someone, and shared by specific peers, any channel is an agreement between its owner and peers to play by some rules, and the task of moderation is given to the owner and/or delegated to chosen volunteers.
