you can already do this. right click a file that you are downloading and go to priority and select sequential. if you are downloading the file fast enough you can play it while downloading. keep in mind it may have to download for a bit to get ahead of you depending on how fast you download.

i use sequential downloading and MPC-HC, works perfectly.
