When you have more downloads than download slots, there seems to be two options:
Either "auto manage slots", which will increase the total number of download slots if torrents are not downloading.
Or recycle slots, which will recycle unused seed slots as download slots.

However, if you have a very large number of downloads that rarely has seeders, neither option will work.

Instead, it'd be perfect if Tixati slowly went through the download queue.
If active torrent has < X kb/s download for Y time, then stop that download, shove it to the back of the queue, and start a different torrent.

Just like Tixati does with the upload queue.

But I cannot find any such option.

Someone said "sequential download options", but this simply means that each file gets downloaded from beginning of file to end. It doesn't cycle the torrents in the queue.

I search out lost media. Meaning I have a very large number of unusual torrents that only have seeds for a few hours every couple of weeks. If I have all of them active at the same time, I get nothing downloaded. But manually cycling the download queue all day & night is not feasible.

Nice suggestion, I also have many dead torrents running. I just up my download slots.
Have you tried messing with the settings in the auto-manage slots, press the details button? I have not done this so be careful what you change.
