can i download from a single peer only? I have this credible peer and i want only to download from him. The problem is, the minimum connection in tixati is 25. Currently i have to Ignore every new peers that show up, somewhat unpractical.

anybody know how?

It can be done but it's not practical too. Stop the torrent, remove all trackers from it, disable DHT and PEX, change incoming connections port number, ignore all peers except the chosen one, start the torrent.
