Tixati does not appear in my list of default apps, even after uninstall and re-install.

Additionally, I cannot assign tixati as the default handler for .magnet files in windows so when clicking magnet links in Chrome, it wants to open in qbittorent, which I do not want.

No amount of changing the defaults in Tixati settings helps at all.

Any help or advice?  My impression is that the Tixati installer is not making some neccessary registry entries.

Your windows thinks that your other client is the default. Try uninstalling your other client and reinstalling tixati. Then go to settings-shell integration and make tixati the default. Or maybe you have to make chrome know that tixati is your wanted default.
