Port status is online or closed ipv4 or 6

by Guest on 2025/11/09 05:01:21 PM
I have CGNAT ipv4 and 'good' ipv6. So I have allowed one ipv6 port (tcp+udp) for Tixati.

Tixati tells me about 50/50 port is online or closed ...

I believe many others have cgnat ipv4 and normal ipv6 so could Tixati tell users which one is closed or open?

I have v3.39 now, but this has been multiple years ..

I'm behind cgnat ipv4.
Keep port between 45000 and 49998.
Below that you will not get much success.
For me, between that range it shows port blocked for first 2 minutes and then it works perfectly.
Also, set a bandwidth present and keep both out/in as 99999999 (as many 9s as you can) it will help a lot.

I don't know if this is the problem I have where DHT has suddenly stopped showing the nodes connected.

Never had a problem before.

I did create my own question about my issue but it has not been approved yet.

Nice to see others have noticed this too.

In DHT - Node table view I have

> IPv4 X000... Online port blocked 29 buckets
> iPv6 7E00... Online port blocked 21 buckets

and I don't quite understand what is mean

I tested both tcp and udp from outside to my ipv6 and I had tcpdump listening at home. Both ipv6 are open.

I didn't test uipv4 cos I know they are blocked.

However Tixati works fine and I am not complaining .. just trying to understand :)

The node count of the DHT used to be displayed at the bottom of the screen, but has been removed in the newest version.

both you are absolutely correct.

DHT PORTS ARE BEING BLOCKED This was not the case in v3.38 but since I have updated to v3.39 it is all about DHT online port blocked - it comes for 5 minutes online and then again goes into Blocked mode.

Very difficult to torrent now because DHT was the major part of connectiong for Tixati and now it is bad.

You will only see 'port blocked' if you do not have a port open/mapped.
Tixati is not blocking ports.
