Many private trackers also mention that their databases do not update synchronously or with such precise granularity, and specifically advise against doing that to prevent tiny stats update counted after free leech period from becoming full torrent size addition to your downloaded bytes count. Some also silently extend the period internally to catch all the delayed updates.
