The lastest release will freeze after having been open only for a couple minutes.  I cannot close it, even through Task Manager.  If I try to restart my PC, it will not shut down because Tixati is still running.  I then have to force shutdown with the power button.  On restart I have to run disk repair.  :(

I assume you are running the newest version, v3.37. Did this start happening when you updated?

A regular process can't really mess with the disk directly (not through the file system), or resist being closed. Unfortunately, it looks like you have a hardware or operating system problem, and it simply hangs. Do other programs that stress the disk/system (big games, benchmarks) cause the same result?

Check the system journals and SMART logs for disk errors, check the disk itself, test your memory, look at temperatures and voltages.

Does turning the anti-virus off prevent it? I hope you haven't run suspicious software from random torrents.
