I tried to make a new client profile for transmission by adding it below the tixati profile in  Settings > Transfers > Trackers, following the example given in the help page, but it does not work.

I then deleted the default tixati profile, leaving only the transmission profile, but still no luck.
What am I doing wrong?

Try putting this into the configure for client profiles under the default Tixati entry.

You may have to fill in the %VA, %VB and such, especially if you are trying to spoof being a different client.

In fact you can create several profiles, by just using the default tixati profile as template and substituting the values corresponding to your preferred client of choice.

Tixati uses one profile each time so you need to disable the others by adding // at the beginning of each profile.

for transmission try this:

Note: You must change the alphanumeric ID to a new random one. You don't want to all pose as the same ID.
