Upgraded from 3.33 when done...Tray Icon no longer visible.

Sorry about that.  I set the default to use the SNI icon, with fallback to the old GtkStatusIcon.  I even tested it on MATE, and it used to be default on another program I make without any troubles.

Fortunately, if you run the program with the command-line option tixati --gsi-tray it should be the way it was before.

Please let me know how it goes.  I'll get this straightened out.

I tried the command line option...with no success

Hi. I have an icon in the bottom right corner, but it doesn't have a menu. I have to use the xkill command to shut down Tixat.

OP, try the command line switch workaround from above.  I have Ubuntu Mate 24.04.2 and it fixed it.

Just close the program, cd to the tixati program folder, and then

./tixati --gsi-tray

Should be working properly now.  I restored the GtkStatusIcon implementation as the default for 3.35.  There is an option in Settings > UI > Behavior for the SNI icon, but it is off by default.

The command line options are still available too for anyone having a problem.

--gsi-tray
--sni-tray
--no-tray
