memory utilation

I have hundreds of torrents running and I noticed Tixati uses more than a small amount or memory. I use 64GB of RAM soi I am not worried about memory too much.

I suggest 16GB might not work well so I suggest 32GB with Windows 11 so that as the number of torrents seeded grows memory use is contained.

Memory is less expensive so upgrading makes sense.

If your problem is excessive disk access, and you assume that it can be fixed by a bigger memory cache, state that.

If you don't have any problem, but assume that “more memory” equals “faster”, you got the Google® Chrome™ disease. They just pretend that a single Youtube page absolutely require grabbing 1+ GB of memory, and loading 100 MB of Javascript libraries tied to latest and greatest browser functions. In fact, it's just to get rid of competitors by setting the compatibility and development costs bar to the level of billion dollar corporations, and to control the users who sheepishly believe they have no choice left.

While we're at it, please upgrade my computer. You said it would not be a big endeavour, so...

Chrome is well known to be a resource pig. This is why I am migratimg to 64GB or more RAM.

2x32GB is cheaper than ever
