File doesn't move on complete...

by Guest on 2025/03/03 03:02:29 PM
I have set up RSS feeds to download then move the file on completion and it works inconstantly. Like i just got to episode 5 of a tv show i'm downloading to see that it didn't move. why would it fail to follow the settings suddenly?

what version and what OS?
are you sure that the file is actually complete?
does it happen for torrents loaded others ways, not through RSS?
are you using categories?

what version of tixati?
what are your settings for the category?
do you have category settings overwriting your default settings?
when a file fails to move to the 'move on complete' folder does it stay in the downloading folder or does it end up somewhere else?

3.32
category setting is matching the tracker to a default folder named of that tracker
i do believe the category settings are overwriting default but the rss feed follows the category setting with the initial download matching the appropriate category folder.
like i said it works and fails randomly, it just happened again today on a different tv show
the file fails to move and stays in the original dl folder.

i do think its' bugged because when i set up an rss feed with a move on complete command checked and there are already episodes available it ignores the move on complete after they finish dl and i have to move them manually and when the next episode is available it will move on complete.. most of the time.

so again in the rss feed under created transfer options
i have DL files location checked 'use default setting' folder A
then
move on completion is checked 'upon completion, move to this location' folder B

it is not following this simple setup consistently which seems really odd.
