Tixati is great but why is it not open source?

I think that Tixati is probably the best BitTorrent software that I have used. What is your rationale for not making Tixati open source?

FOSS means Free and Open Source Software. It doesn’t mean the software is free of cost. It means that the software's source code is open for all and anyone is free to use, study and modify the code. This principle allows others to contribute to developing and improving a software like a community.

Tixati is the only BitTorrent software that I have found that supports 256 MB piece size that actually works! Libtorrent has removed support for 256 MB piece size. Transmission also supports 256 MB piece size, but in my experience using Transmission for seeding, it sits idle most of the time and does not actively try to connect to seeds and peers!
