3.32 Win: Folder selection dialog not showing re-mapped category

I remap my Music and Videos locations (by right-click, Properties, Location tab) to a different (slow/spinning disk) drive and those do not show up when I try to select a move-on-complete location for the first time in the session. When I dismiss the dialog and try again, all the missing re-mapped locations appear. I am guessing it is because the dialog is no longer waiting for them to resolve (and therefore assume they do not exist) before displaying the list -- while in the background it is properly resolved/cached for subsequent tries.

This still happens in 3.33. The first attempt per session to use context menu to bring up the tree to choose a location for move-on-complete always show a reduced list of base locations. Cancelling and reattempting it will show the full list including remapped categories.

What version of Windows are you using?
What exactly is not showing up in the dialog?
Is it other harddrives or just other partitions on the same drive not showing up?
Could you post a pic of the two situations, to better understand what is going on?

This happens on Windows 10 for sure.

In my case, the Desktop, Documents, and Videos locations don't show up until retried.

I think we have successfully re-created this problem. I didn't have time to fix it in 3.34 but it is of priority and I will most likely have a fix for next release.
Thanks for all the infos.

Still working on a fix for this after v3.35.
I have recreated the problem, and it is within the operating system. It is related to IShellFolder enumeration in Windows 10 and up. The solution is a bit more involved that I expected (must use asynchronous mode and add a folder watch object), so it's going to take some more time.
It will be done soon.
Thanks again for the report.
