Private Trackers that allow Tixati?

by Guest on 2025/01/01 10:42:10 PM
Hi. Im a long time fan of this client but just recently started using private trackers again and it seems a few of the popular ones ban it. Are there any decent ones that still occasionally give out invites that allow it?

Its a great, ,privacy minded, slim and easy to compile client and its just sad to see this. Feel free to add those youd recommend.

go to the options tab for a transfer and then go to peers
there you can change your peer ID and your Client ID
just change it to an approved client and peer ID and then you can use tixati for your private trackers.

I know about this option but supposedly "they can find out in other ways". Can they? Im not that keen on losing any connections I make again over a client, no matter how much I prefer this one ( I think I even donated once long ago ).

Anyway it would be awesome to share sites that *do* allow it for all of us Tixati Enjoyers to gravitate towards.

the reason they ban clients is that some clients have specific aggressive behaviour patterns. if tracker has some kind of more advanced detection than just reading the headers, then theoretically they can detect for example if you have sequential downloads enabled. after that the question would be how would they handle that situation. you could also ask them to whitelist Tixati.

BakaBT, an anime tracker, has an extensive whitelist which includes Tixati (up to v3.29)
