lets say i delete 5 files and currently tixati shows an error only for one on them
how to reproduce:
download a torrent with 10 files
delete 5 of the files
start the torrent
tixati shows 1 file missing while in fact there are 5 files missing.

What OS and version of Tixati?
does this always happen with this one torrent? If so, post it here so the dev can look at it.
either post a link to the torrent or post the magnet link.
does it happen with multiple torrents?
what does it say in the status column for the files?
if you could post a link to a picture of whats going on that would help.

windows 10, tixati 3.31
i dont think it depends on the versions, i also noticed this long time ago.
this happens with all torrents
i just tried it with a random torrent with 10 files, after 1 minute stopped torrent, deleted 4 files, started torrent - only the first file show an error "file missing (force check to override)". what i usually do is i deselect this file, then start the torrent again, 2nd file gets an error, deselect 2nd file, start torrent, 3rd file gets an error and so on...

how are you deleting the files? through tixati or through computer?
are the files in the files tab, the ones you have deleted, still selected to download when you restart the torrent?

Tixati is telling you the files are missing because they are. You deleted the files outside of tixati so tixati is telling you that the files are missing. Try turning off the files you do not want and then delete them through tixati.

i thought tixati could check all files first time and tell me which files are missing. it a lot of work to remember all files and uncheck + delete them again in tixati.

I think the issue here is that Tixati is stopping all validation on the first error it finds, instead of continuing and reporting on the entire torrent status in one go. It's the same if it detects an incorrectly-sized file - it stops and complains even if the rest of the torrent is fine. (This frequently happens if uploaders issue a repack and just one file is affected, so you reuse your existing download.)
It's not necessarily incorrect behaviour, but it's annoying and unnecessary. I'd certainly appreciate better handling where an incorrectly-sized file is detected. A YES/NO option to automatically resize (extend or truncate it) rather than forcing the user to manually delete it outside Tixati and manually recheck the torrent, forcing a complete empty file rewite, would be a far saner method, especially with large files. And even if the file is a different size than expected, it might still contain valid data if checked as normal - if the different size is because something has been tacked onto the end or an initial header has been updated, 99% of that might be OK, but Tixati refuses to find out, forcing a complete redownload. That is frankly insane and wasteful.
