Seeding does not work -- may have to do with some settings

by larry77 on 2024/12/02 11:11:40 AM
Hello,
I have just started with Tixati and I love its approach and interface.
I noticed that seeding does not work.
I mean: I seed only protocol data (max 1.5k/s), but never real data.
The downloads work fine and I usually use nordvpn when downloading e.g. via magnet links (but the issue is still there even if I do not use a VPN).
I use the latest tixati version for linux (I run debian stable+LXDE on my boxes, and the behaviour is always the same). What can I check/tinker? Any suggestion is appreciated.

How exactly do you know you are not seeding?
Is there and seeding bandwidth in your bandwidth chart?
Are you sure other peers need you?
Are there incomplete peers you are connected to that you do not send bandwidth to?
If you reinstall an older version of tixati are you able to seed?

Hello,
Good question.
Have a look here

(Link removed by Mod and sent to Dev)

It seems strange that there is no outgoing data being seeded (other than protocol data).
What do you think?

larry77 -> Please re-post a link to the picture but with file names blurred. You have no seeding bandwidth outgoing because you are not connected to any peers who need any of the torrent. Those torrents have no incomplete peers.
