Self-connect: own IP filtered

by Guest on 2024/11/06 06:44:02 PM
I've been using Tixati for quite some time now and just recently I've started to notice in the transfer window that my own public IP is filtered. For years it's been showing self-connect.

What could have caused this? Is there some way to get it "unfiltered"? What are the consequences of having a filtered IP?

Any answer is much appreciated,

If you mean “Ignored”, you can revert the accidental ban from the context menu.

If you mean that your IP filters list your own address block as “impure”, well, maybe it's time to finally stop using that joke of a security solution.

If you're behind ISP's NAT, and can't connect, maybe it's a bad luck because of port number collision, or they reconstruct their network. Try changing the port number in settings, and wait for a while until you see an updated peer.
