Apologies that this must have been asked so many times on different forums!

I have around 300 torrents which I uploaded on my old - now dead - laptop. I have the original torrent files I created and the original MP3 files I was sharing, both unchanged from their original state, sitting on my new laptop. To start seeding from my new laptop, I have added a new torrent using the same .torrent file, started it, stopped it, changed the destination file to where the data sits on my new laptop and forced a re-check. I understood that Tixati would now realise I am simply re-starting an existing file. Instead however, it is starting to download the file from others who are still seeding my original torrent.

I must be doing something wrong, but I'm unsure what. If somebody would please talk me through it gently - I am not a nerd! -  that would be great. Do I need to add the trackers again or will these be "remembered"?

See where new files are made, maybe you have got wrong path, one folder too deep is a common mistake.

if it is not in wrong bath, be sure that you have not renamed it before...
other case should work 100%,, no excuse....
