If you are using a socks5 proxy that requires no auth, it appears that Tixati attempts to log in to the proxy server with a blank user name and password. All connections fail with 'proxy auth failed'.

Is there a workaround?

Just want to check?? have you entered a user name and password under settings /proxy in Tixati? If yes then does it comply with the rules of the proxy. IE right letter, number or cap  requirements? IE help as username needs to be 7 letters with Capitals and 1234 as the password must be 9 numbers or letters and there must be a capital.

Often if you fail to comply with password rules they are marked as blank.
