New install of the latest Tixati on an older HP with Windows 7 ultimate using a realtek usb wireless nic on a 54mbs wireless connection.  Both download and upload speeds climb to very nice highs, 60 to 80kbs, then plummet to zero, then climb back again only to plummet to zero again, in about the time it took me to type that sentence.  It is regular and consistent.  This does not happen to my installation on my other laptop, a Toshiba, on the same network.  Any suggestions would be appreciated, I installed Tixati on the other unit because I was highly impressed with its' performance, as well as the general layout and organization of interface.  Thanks in advance.
