Support page / Question about a setting

by Guest on 2014/06/15 01:57:07 PM
The support page at http://support.tixati.com/Settings_-_Network_-_Connections  is incomplete.

Just messing around with settings and such I noticed a setting that I haven't seen in any other client: Dual conn attempt non-pref proto skip minimum margin %.

Does anyone know the meaning of this setting? or why the support page is incomplete?

I guess it has something to do with connecting to same peer twice, probably using IPv4 and IPv6. I don't know any details (disabled IPv6 long time ago).

Is it possible that "dual conn attempt non-pref proto skip minimum margin %" is short for " attempt  "?

Which could mean, in english, "The minimum % for a margin, which when over Tixati skips dual connection attempts for non-prefixed protocols"? Is this something that happens with IPv4 and IPv6?

Anyone have a more helpful comments?
