Wrongly ignored peers

by Guest on 2024/03/06 11:47:53 PM
I'm using tixati v3.22 via vpn and a lot of my peers seem to have same IP.
Not sure if it's a problem by itself, but what is a real problem is that if one of them is marked as Ignored (no idea why) then all peers with same ip are also ignored.
This basically breaks all my seeding every several hours.

Please, at least, make "ignored" peers uningnore themselve after some time, and make them independent of ip (perhaps only ignore a specific ip:port).

Create IP Filter list to accept matches

Tried that, they still get ignored.

I thinks its in Settings - Transfers/Peers - Auto-Ignore Bad Piece Threshold. Someone is feeding garbage pieces to your client. Blocking only IP:port pairs is not feasible because a bad actor can use up to 65000 ports on a single IP. If you don't mind wasted bandwidth, greatly increase the bad piece threshold. Make sure you didn't add any Client Filters yourself.
