There is no icon in the notification area ever, not even with any gnome extension. Using fedora ws 39.

Are you sure that the icon in the system tray is turned on?
look at: settings-user interface-behavior

do any other programs not show an icon?

keepassxc and qbittorrent both show an icon.

Ubuntu Mate 22.04.4 LTS.....when i updated from 3.19 to the latest, i also lost the tray icon.
The tixati settings are unchanged & correct.
All other tray icons i had before the update are present, only Tixati is missing.
I have tried a reinstall to no effect, still missing but of course Tixati is still running in the background.

This should be fixed in 3.22.  Please let us know what happens.
