Tixati is my favorite torrent client but the WEBUI while very useful is a little cumbersome. Would it be possible to add support for Transmission Remote Gui? It's a frontend app that actis like a local torrent client but connects to a transmission instance. But I would livve to be able to use with Tixati.

Unlikely Tixati's dev will agree, since he'll then need to keep monitoring and testing with an external project for changes and modify his own accordingly to maintain maximum compatibility.

Moreover, would Transmission's license even allow a closed-source app like Tixati to take advantage of an open source one's development resources?

BTW, have you tried asking the Transmission Remote GUI devs to add support for Tixati?
