Hi,

I am running Xubuntu 22.04.2 LTS 64 bits and Tixati v3.12 64 bits, I want to upgrade Tixati to v3.19 but I get this error:

$ sudo apt install ./tixati_3.19-1_amd64.deb

The other problem I have is that I get this error when I open Tixati v3.12: "unable to find / create partial piece storage folder"
That folder is currently "/home/m/Downloads/". I tried to change it to "/home/m/Documents/" but the error persist.

Thanks
Regards

Hi again,

I am going to add more info that I've found out now that it is relevant to my original post:

My operative system runs on a SSD. But many downloaded and partially downloaded files are located in a 2TB HDD. As that HDD was heating up and showing some errors I connected 3 small but powerful and noisy fans that I bought second hand (new ones here are difficult to find and expensive here) to blow some air to the HDD. As I don't want to hear all that noise all the time I added a toggle switch that disconnects the HDD and the fans from the power supply before turning on the computer when I am not going to use the files located there.

Now I've found out that if I turn on the computer:

1) with the HDD running Tixati shows no errors
2) with the HDD disconnected: Tixati shows the error that it cannot find that location (mentioned in my original post), which is very weird because that location is at the SDD and NOT at the HDD

Is it probably some bug?

In the second case I would expect Tixati to probably show me an error saying that it cannot find some folder at the HDD but never at the SDD. Note that I say probably because when the errors showed up Tixati had 0 (zero) files at the seeding, downloading and queued categories. Only at the offline category there were (and still are) many files located at the HDD.

Thanks
Regards
