What does this error message mean?

"SSDP Local Peer Discovery: Could not open multicast socket: Address not available"

not sure - I asked the same 6 months ago and didn't get a definitive answer.. maybe a firewall issue?

Local peer discovery is for looking on your own network, as I understand. First you have to have a network, local setup. That would be 2 computers running torrent software on your network or router. They may actually need to be running the same torrent not sure. Unless you are on a network of more than 2 computers, you will get an error.

I'm curious now too, I get the same error message. Do you guys have UPnP disabled in your routers? Is Windows Network Discovery turned on?
