Hi,
I usually use Tixati on Windows, where I bound Tixati on a VPN interface, which works really well. So when I disonnect the VPN on windows, immediately a window is displayed that there is no connection.
The same workflow on Linux, on the other hand, does NOT result in such a message being displayed. The download does not continue, but the connection to other seeders seems to remain!
Is there some other setting which has to be set on Linux?

Where does this window come from? I don't think I ever see it.
I run on Linux, just like you say, bound to the VPN tun0 interface. So when the VPN drops, all the connections eventually timeout and die. Nothing leaks if I check tcpdump and all that, but it takes a few minutes for all the connections to realize there's no more internet access and time themselves out.
