I have been using Tixati for at least two years on my DELL system running Windows 7.1 Pro, x64 with 1924 torrents loaded currently.
NOTE: There were two power failures in the last month or so but the Dell rebooted fine as well as the QNAP NAS in use.
It seems, after upgrading a couple months ago (rarely done) something happened, I noticed this past week there were four (4) torrents that were marked 'File too large' when I recently ran a 'Force check' on all torrents in library. There was no problem when originally downloaded and for many months (if not over a year). They all play their content fine.
After reviewing several posts here, I upgraded from v2.88 to v2.89 today (I could have been using a version 6-12 months old prior to this all I recall). The problem still exists. Then I tried another suggestion to delete the file (rename actually) and did another 'Force check' and, guess what, another mp3 in the same album IMMEDIATELY showed itself as 'File too large'. That looks some kind of checksum issue.
Like others, this USB drive volume is configured as NTFS and is 4 TB in size. I ran a CHKDSK on the volume and no errors were indicated. I looked for an older version on the website but it must be hidden somewhere inaccessible (no developer ever tosses such items out). Unfortunately, I just deleted all my old installers on my NAS a week ago. I do not care to start from scratch again as when I switched over from uTorrent.
And just to clarify, some albums in this 5.08 GB Discography are even larger the one with this problem. Go figure.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
