Hello dear community:

I've noted tixati makes 16 more or less simultaneous connections to webseed servers. Some web servers throttle the overall download speed if detect too many connections.

I did not figure out how to set or fine tune this slices.

I guess is enough with a single piece to be downloaded with a single thread for a webseed. But if this number can be tuned will be great.

The particular example is wikipedia I've added manually 3 webseeds.

Is there perhaps any hidden configuration option to tweak this value? or I miss something?

I created a new Web Seed Request Limiter for version v3.11 which is now available.  By default, it will only allow 4 connections to any particular web-seed host, but it is fully configurable.

You can find it in v3.11 in the Settings > Transfers > Peers near the bottom of the window.
