Tixati on Windows 11

by Guest on 2021/10/08 07:41:31 AM
Hi. If anyone is wondering, Tixati works flawlessly on Windows 11. Here's what it looks like: https://ibb.co/wJH0rVF

I imported my Tixati config after installing Windows 11 and that worked too. Just make sure your files are in the same place as before.

Damn I hate scrollbars with empty space on top and bottom.

Thanks for the report though! Does Windows 11 Defender remove Tixati by default?

Windows 11 didn't remove Tixati for me but it probably will for you unless you turn off blocking potentially unwanted applications (PUA) in Windows Defender. I always turn this off but leave the other settings alone. I usually do this before trying to install Tixati. I never get any issues with Windows removing Tixati. You can use Windows 11 if you want, but I'd actually recommend waiting. Not because of any issues with it and Tixati but because Windows 11 is too new. I went back to Windows 10 LTSC 2019. It uses the old 1809 version of Windows 10(yes. from 2018.) but it's super stable and supported until 2029. Although probably way before then I'll be on Windows 11 or whatever the next LTSC version is.
