There are two different methods to open a folder in Tixati:
1. From the Transfers view (double click or Local Files>Open Folder) - this one works correctly and opens the custom file explorer
2. From the Files tab for a particular transfer (right click and Open Folder) - this one is bugged and always opens Windows Explorer
On Windows you can have an alternative file explorer that overrides the defaults for a 'folder open' operation. Most programs work correctly with that, opening the folder in a user-defined file explorer, like 1. Other programs somehow always open Windows Explorer, like 2, despite user preferences.
To test it, you can install Q-Dir by Hrg Nenad (SoftwareOK). To enable explorer overrides: Main Program window 'Settings' > 'Q-Dir by default' > select defaults like Folders. A reboot should not be required and clicking folders in Windows Explorer should now bring up Q-Dir (this is what we want). Programs opening folders should behave like this too.
When you fix this, can you please explain the difference between the two methods? I'd like to report this bug to other programs too.
Windows 7 x64, Tixati 2.84
Thanks
