[BUG] "Program stopped working" error on startup after update to

After updating the portable edition to 2.82.1 there is no way to start the program on Windows 7.
Both 32bit and 64bit versions seems to be affected.
No problem in prior versions.

Thanks for reporting this. A new version will be released very soon and will have this fixed.
