I'm downloading a torrent from Archive.org (so I think it's legal?). Archive.org generates their torrents with their HTTP mirrors as web seeds embedded in the torrent file. They also add these "padding files" to the beginning of the torrent, but these padding files are not always found on the HTTP mirrors.
When I downloaded my torrent, I selected only a few files to download. I did not enable the padding files for download. When I try connecting one of the web seeds, Tixati apparently tries to request a disabled padding file from the HTTP mirror. The mirror reports that the file is not found, then Tixati gives up and disables the Web seed. It never tires to request the file I want downloaded, it only seems to start at the top of the torrent files list and gives up right away when the file is not found.
It seems like this is ultimately a bug in Tixati - it's trying to download a file that I told it not to. Can anyone confirm this?
