Location Shortcuts

Is there any way to sort Location Shortcuts aside from manually?  All of the settings files I've found are binary (why on why?) and the dialog to manually edit the Locations Shortcuts provides no sorting function (like perhaps clicking on the column header?).

It's possible only manually.

While on the same topic I think? Right click a file local files then location and a list appears.
My question is how can you edit this list and does it grow forever or is there a cap on it. I was using Tixati to move groups of files but each time the list grew with "one time" locations, so I stopped to do research on this in-case the list grows forever. It is already longer than I like.

Go to: Settings > Transfers > Local Files > Location shortcuts in transfer context menu. There you can choose either Recently Selected Folders or Customized List, you can also specify maximum number of recent folders.

Thank you much. Helps greatly. There are so many things configurable within this program it is hard to know where they all are.

From the first post you said there is no way to sort, but there is; while in the edit window you can drag the locations up and down to the order you want.

Something I just noticed which solved everything for me. If you leave the box set to customize in the settings section then nothing is automatically added to the location drop down in the program.

i Have 32 shortcuts but the program don't show them all.
Btw i like more than 32

btw: got a captcha with 3 different number series which I entered perfectly, hwever not with spaces in between cause that wasn;t mentioned. So i think it failed me in letting me post this at first and second attempt

In the 'Customize Location Shortcuts' window, there are 2 columns:
- the first one is showing the name, derived from the name of the directory at the end of the path;
- the second is showing the full path.

For instance, a shortcut to c:\iso\ubuntu shows 'ubuntu' under 'Name'. This name will appear in dialog boxes referring to this option, f.i. when you right-click on a transfer and select 'Local Files' > 'Location', or in the window when you add a torrent.

Is there a way to edit this name? I happen to have some subdirectories with the same name and it'd be cool to use this 'shortcut' option to select the right one in a very quick way.

Thanks in advance!

Here I am again, the same 'Guest' a above.
I'm just posting to answer my own question, hoping that other people having have the same question might benefit.

When you select one of the Location Shortcuts, f.i. in the Load Transfer window, and let the mouse pointer float above one of the entries, the entire path appears.
That way you'll be able to determine which of the folders you want to select.
